I have always found great reward in working with people, helping others to find the best way to improve a difficult situation and move forward in their lives.
I have worked for over 30 years as an optician. Alongside my work as an optician I have held several voluntary roles including working with domestic abuse survivors, with adults in an education setting, in sport, on mental health support phone lines, and I have worked with adults in crisis.
For me, it is a privilege to be alongside someone, supporting and helping guide them, as they learn about themselves and grow as a person.
So many of us have had difficult times in our lives, times when we may find life tough. Having someone to talk to can make a big difference in finding our way through those difficult times.
I am professional but down to earth in how I work.
I am fully qualified, registered and insured and I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society (NCS)
Louise Green Dip. Couns, MNCS (Accred)
I am also proud to work with Anxiety UK charity as an Approved Therapist.
